These two pieces are part of an ongoing exploration of the male psyche using the head form as the main vehicle for expressing my ideas. My primary interest is the ongoing manipulation of our animal drives within our ever expanding intellectual capabilities and how this often forces us to camouflage feelings and motivations within our social interactions.
In recent times the rapid incursion of coded control within all aspects of our life has brought a new dynamic to this theme. The monkey within has been shaken but remains constant.
