Stuart McHarrie is an artist from Greenwich, Southeast London. He studied Fine Art, Painting at Central St Martins, London. A Painter, Art Director and Illustrator he has worked commercially most of his life. Over the past decade he has given greater emphasis to his painting. Stuart splits his time between Greenwich and Sandgate and now predominantly paints seascapes along with some portraiture and still lifes. He is interested in the inanimate object within landscape, the juxtaposition of solid concrete walls, buildings and structures, set against the flatness of the beach and sea. He has exhibited at the NEAC and has paintings in numerous private collections around the world.
